Tips for business use

  • Analytics: Insights Summary (located to the right of you business page’s homepage)
  • Since you are competing with users’ friends and family, make content more personal and people-centric
  • If possible, write in a unique style or add an original “voice” to all your content
  • Stick to pictures and video with short messages as most users are on mobile devices and quickly browsing through their Facebook news feed
  • In relationship-building businesses like real estate, personal profile pages tend to be more successful than business pages
  • Ways to interact with customers: host contests, request feedback from your customers, recognize someone publicly on your profile, or share local news and updates
  • Useful or funny content attracts more attention to your page
